How to Clean Your Gorilla Glass Screen

Whether it’s fingerprints, oil residue, or dust; everyday dirt on tablets, smartphones and notebooks alike is unavoidable. However, if you own a device with a Corning® Gorilla® Glass screen, you can quickly wipe away every day smudges to clean it.

The easiest way to clean your screen is to simply wipe the glass with a clean, microfiber cloth using gentle wiping motions.  No specialty products are required.  You can purchase microfiber cloths at electronics, optometry,  and automotive stores.  And check your sunglass case, many come with microfiber cloths inside! For light smudge and dirt, a plain microfiber cloth works like a charm.

For the grimiest screens, there are screen cleaning sprays that will do the trick. Use a clean and dry microfiber cloth and just remember to spray on the cloth before wiping -- avoid spraying directly on the glass itself.  You can purchase cleaning sprays from electronics stores. This method will not only remove smudges and dirt but some sprays can also kill bacteria.

You can also purchase disposable electronic cleaning wipes designed especially for your device. These single-use wipes are perfect for on-the-move cleaning of tablets and smartphones and can kill bacteria and remove dirt all in one wipe.

Keep it clean!
